Each year, CIEE presents two awards: the CIEE Award for Program Excellence and the CIEE Student Recognition Award. The Program Excellence Award recognizes a program or program component that was truly excellent at a CIEE Study Center during the previous academic year while the Student Recognition Award acknowledges an exemplary student, or students, who studied at a CIEE Study Center during the previous academic year.
In addition, awards to outstanding individuals either in the field or who had significant impact on the field of education abroad may be presented. The CIEE Awards are announced each year at the CIEE Annual Conference.
